Our heritage
Tigray is home to a rich cultural heritage shaped by centuries of history, resilience, language, traditions, and community values. From the ancient obelisks of Axum to the enduring legacy of Tigrinya language, our heritage continues to inspire and unite us across generations.
Here in Seattle, we proudly preserve and celebrate that heritage through cultural events, language education, traditional celebrations, community gatherings, and the values of unity, respect, and mutual support. Together, we ensure that our culture remains vibrant for today's families and future generations.
